I have a pair of glasses that I couldn’t get to fit together just with glue (broke right on the hinge part). Glued the insides, wrapped it with a small piece of teabag, glued over and pressed to mold over. A little black paint and you can’t even tell. Works really well for broken nails too

Wow! Now that’s something I need to try on the next thing I repair! I like to use guitar/violin cord for this kind of repairs, it makes a very good bond with plastics and its not hard to paint over with nail polish. I used to repair may glasses by tying both parts with the cord and adding super glue. Worked like a charm for me. Also, if you have a dremmel with tiny drillbits, you can make a hole on the plastic parts to thread the cord.

FYI: dryer sheets plus super glue act as fiber glass. I have made many repairs this way and boi do they hold up.

Use paper towels and CA glue. It’s like bonding with glass sheet and resin, and you can even sand it out if you really want. You can get some shockingly good structural support with it 🙂

Video’s I found:

motorbike part repair

<iframe loading="lazy" title="Worlds Strongest Super Glue??
